High-precision air-fuel ratio meter MCS-3a
Measuring the air-fuel ratio is essential for addressing engine exhaust emissions and reducing fuel consumption. We would like to introduce the high-precision MCS-3a for control system development applications.
High-precision air-fuel ratio measurement can be achieved without being affected by coexisting gases such as HC and CO generated during rich combustion. By combining a dilution mechanism using a capillary and an oxidation catalyst, the residual oxygen concentration is measured with an oxygen concentration cell-type zirconia sensor, and the air-fuel ratio is calculated. Features: > Not affected by back pressure fluctuations > Accurate air-fuel ratio measurement even during cold starts or misfires > Wide dynamic range (7–100 AFR) > Response time of T10-90 < 300 ms FAQ Is it compatible with alcohol-based fuel engines? Yes, it can accommodate all engines, including hydrocarbon-based and alcohol-based fuels, as the H/C and O/C ratios of the fuel can be set. What is the replacement cycle for the MCS-3 catalyst? The sample time is 200 hours (oxidation efficiency can be confirmed using model gas).
